The Beast: Aura Entertainment Acquires U.S. Rights to Action-Thriller Starring Samuel L. Jackson and Joel Kinnaman

Aura Entertainment has acquired the U.S. rights to The Beast, a new action-thriller directed by Renny Harlin and starring Samuel L. Jackson and Joel Kinnaman. In the film, Jackson portrays a U.S. President who is targeted by a militia group attempting a coup. Trapped inside the presidential limousine, known as 'The Beast,' he discovers the vehicle's hidden offensive capabilities and decides to use it to fight his way to safety and reunite with his loved ones. The movie is set for a theatrical release in the fourth quarter of the year.
Produced by Keith Kjarval, Wayne Godfrey, Nicki Cortese, Rob Van Norden, and John Logan Pierson in collaboration with Fifth Season, The Beast promises high-octane action and suspense. Aura Entertainment's CEO, Marc Goldberg, expressed enthusiasm for the film, highlighting Harlin's expertise in delivering top-tier action sequences. With Jackson and Kinnaman leading the cast, the movie is anticipated to be a must-see cinematic experience for audiences this fall.
The agreement for The Beast was brokered by Goldberg for Aura Entertainment and WME Independent on behalf of the filmmakers. WME Independent will handle international sales for the movie. The acquisition of The Beast adds to Aura's expanding lineup of films, including the action comedy Code 3, the directorial debut K-Pops! by rapper Anderson .Paak, and the Dave Bautista-led Trap House. Upcoming releases from Aura include the survival thriller Hungry and the shark thriller Above and Below, featuring Laura Marano and Antonio Banderas.
Aura Entertainment, a collaboration between Capstone Studios, Signature Entertainment, and Ascending Media Group, aims to release 10-15 films annually, catering to diverse audiences with a mix of genres and star-studded casts.
