Adam Driver's Career Journey: From 'Girls' to 'Paper Tiger' and Beyond

Adam Driver rose to fame through his roles in both critically acclaimed films and blockbuster hits, but his career initially took off on television in Lena Dunham's HBO series "Girls." Recently, Dunham's memoir, "Famesick," shed light on behind-the-scenes drama, including allegations about Driver's behavior on set. Driver, when asked about the claims at a press conference for his latest film "Paper Tiger," chose not to comment, jokingly mentioning that he would save his thoughts for his own book.
In "Famesick," Dunham described her experiences working with Driver, highlighting moments of intensity and tension during their scenes together. Despite acknowledging Driver's occasional aggression and imposing demeanor, Dunham also noted moments of protectiveness and care from him. Their complex dynamic added depth to their partnership during the first season of "Girls."
"Paper Tiger," directed by James Gray and featuring Scarlett Johansson and Miles Teller, premiered to a standing ovation. The film, set in 1986, follows the story of two brothers, Irwin and Gary Pearl, as they become entangled in a dangerous situation involving Russian mobsters. Irwin's actions inadvertently lead to trouble, and it's up to Gary, a former cop played by Driver, to navigate the escalating violence and chaos that ensues.
