Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo have been tapped to direct the upcoming high-concept thriller film, The Cliff, featuring Nora Arnezeder. The movie, produced by Phase 4 Productions, Place du Marché Productions, and Featuristic Films, follows a woman who finds herself trapped in a wrecked car on the edge of a cliff in the desert, with no recollection of how she ended up there. Set to start filming this summer, The Cliff is penned by Romain Serir.

Maury and Bustillo, known for their work on popular French horror films like Inside, Leatherface, Kandisha, and Deep House, bring their expertise to this new project. The Pool Films, a Paris-based production company that focuses on English-language genre films with strong international appeal, is behind the production of The Cliff. The company, established last year, aims to provide a comprehensive range of services, including studio facilities, post-production, VFX capabilities, financing, and international sales.
