New Releases on HBO Max: May 18-24, 2026 - Batman Animated Series, Tomb Raider, and More!
HBO Max is set to release new movies and TV shows from May 11 to May 17, 2026, including the latest season of a Batman animated series. In this season, Badcomputer activates his own satellite, taking control of all computers on Earth. The heroes must venture into space to defeat him. The third season is divided into parts, with the first part premiering on December 5, 2025, followed by the next set on February 6, 2026, and the final batch on May 22, 2026. In the previous episode, Batman, Buff, and Ace battled a magical fire in Poison Ivy's fortress.
Another addition to HBO Max is the 2018 action-adventure film Tomb Raider, directed by Roar Uthaug and based on the popular video game franchise. The story follows Lara Croft, a determined woman who embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind her father's disappearance. The film stars Alicia Vikander, Dominic West, Walton Goggins, and Daniel Wu, among others.
