52nd Annual American Music Awards: Star-Studded Lineup and Performances Revealed

The 52nd annual American Music Awards is set to air on Memorial Day with a star-studded lineup of performers taking the stage in Las Vegas. Hootie & the Blowfish, KATSEYE, Keith Urban, Maluma, Riley Green, Sombr, Teddy Swims, and Twenty One Pilots are among the artists scheduled to perform during the live ceremony on Monday, May 25, 2026. The show will be broadcast from the MGM Grand Garden Arena at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+, with Queen Latifah as the host.
Hootie & the Blowfish will make a return to the AMAs stage after three decades, Urban will preview music from his upcoming album, Maluma will debut material from “Loco x Volver,” and Twenty One Pilots will perform “Drag Path.” Other performances include KATSEYE with “Pinky Up,” Teddy Swims with “Mr. Know It All,” and Riley Green making his AMA performance debut.
The nominations for this year were announced in April, with Taylor Swift leading with eight nods. Artists like Morgan Wallen, Olivia Dean, Sabrina Carpenter, and Sombr followed closely with seven nominations each. Lady Gaga, Alex Warren, Ella Langley, Fuerza Regida, Leon Thomas, and Zara Larsson were also heavily nominated. Newcomers like KATSEYE, Leon Thomas, PinkPantheress, RAYE, Role Model, Sienna Spiro, and Tate McRae received their first AMA nominations this year.
The 2026 ceremony will feature a Memorial Day tribute honoring veterans and military service members in partnership with national veterans organizations. Fan voting closed on May 8, except for the categories ‘Social Song of the Year’ and ‘Tour of the Year,’ which will remain open during the live broadcast through VoteAMAs.com and the AMAs Instagram page.
