Def Leppard's Latest Hits: New Albums, Tour Updates, and Studio Album Teasers
Def Leppard is set to release two new editions of their Greatest Hits album on June 12. The fresh masters will be available on LP in standard black vinyl and a special edition blood red marbled vinyl with exclusive 2026 tour edition artwork. The band recently completed a successful residency in Las Vegas, toured India, and released a new single titled "Rejoice."
Frontman Joe Elliott shared that the group is currently working on a new studio album scheduled for an early 2027 release. They have already written 17 or 18 songs and have almost completed recording two albums. The band adapted to a new recording method during the COVID-19 pandemic, with members recording remotely from their homes instead of gathering in a studio.
Elliott mentioned in an interview that the upcoming album will feature a mix of songs, including the fastest track the band has ever recorded and slower tunes with piano elements. Def Leppard will be embarking on a tour in the UK and Europe in June and July, with special guests Extreme joining them for the shows. The tour includes a headline performance at The O2 in London and the band's first Paris concert in nearly three decades.
