Keith Urban's Smooth Sailing: A Preview of Flow State

Keith Urban has recently released a cover of Robbie Dupree's 1980 track, "Steal Away," as a preview of his upcoming album, Flow State, set to be released on June 12. The album, Urban's 13th studio album, is inspired by the smooth sounds of yacht rock classics like "Baby Come Back" and "Summer Breeze." Flow State includes collaborations with Michael McDonald, Little Big Town, and John Mayer, and was produced by Urban and Dann Huff at Urban's studio in Nashville.

Urban shared that the essence of yacht rock music is to provide a sense of relaxation and unity in challenging times. He hopes that listeners will find comfort and optimism in the songs on the album. Urban's summer schedule includes performances at the American Music Awards in Las Vegas and CMA Fest 2026 in Nashville. He will also be performing at Gulf Coast Jam in Florida, Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida, and the Country Summer Music Festival in California.
