Adrian Vandenberg's My Whitesnake Years Tour: A Rock Extravaganza Celebrating Decades of Music

Adrian Vandenberg, the renowned guitarist, has announced the upcoming My Whitesnake Years Tour for this summer. The tour will showcase his time with the iconic band Whitesnake, spanning from the 1987 album to the 1997 release. With 18 dates scheduled for August, the concerts will feature former UFO guitarist Vinnie Moore and bassist/singer Marco Mendoza, known for their contributions to various rock bands. The shows will celebrate decades of rock music from Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, UFO, and more.

In the early '80s, David Coverdale invited Vandenberg to join Whitesnake, but the guitarist opted to focus on his band Vandenberg. However, in 1987, Vandenberg played a solo on Whitesnake's hit song "Here I Go Again" and later joined the band for a successful tour. Despite an injury preventing him from playing on the 1989 album "Slip of the Tongue," Vandenberg was credited as a co-writer and arranger for the guitar parts. The My Whitesnake Years Tour will highlight the songs Vandenberg performed during his time with the band.

The tour kicks off on August 3 in New Bedford, Massachusetts, and includes stops in various cities such as New York, Pittsburgh, and Nashville, concluding in Atlanta on August 23. Vandenberg expressed his excitement for the tour, promising fans a memorable experience with classic hits like "Still of the Night," "Here I Go Again," and more. Additional information and tickets for the shows can be found on Vandenberg's official website.
