Fire Engine Overturns in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Sunland: Two Firefighters Injured
Two firefighters were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Sunland on Tuesday night when their fire engine overturned. The Los Angeles Fire Department reported that the firefighters sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital for evaluation. Fortunately, no one else was injured in the incident. The fire engine was en route to a structure fire when the collision occurred, causing the vehicle to roll over onto a sidewalk and come to a stop near a storefront. As a result of the crash, Foothill Boulevard was closed between Scoville Avenue and McVine Avenue.
