Detroit Lions Bolster Wide Receiver Group with Signing of Cedrick Wilson
The Detroit Lions made a move to bolster their wide receiver group by signing experienced player Cedrick Wilson. Wilson, who previously played for the Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys, and New Orleans Saints, brings a wealth of experience to the team. In his last season, he recorded five receptions for 44 yards in 10 games.
The Lions already have key receivers in Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams, with Isaac TeSlaa expected to step up as the third receiver. Additionally, they added Greg Dortch in free agency to replace Kalif Raymond as a backup receiver and return specialist. In the draft, they selected Kendrick Law in the fifth round to further strengthen their receiving corps.
