Meet Dave Gardi: The Tennessee Titans' New Executive Vice President of Football Operations

The Tennessee Titans have appointed Dave Gardi as their new Executive Vice President of Football Operations. Gardi comes to the Titans after serving as the Senior Vice President of Football Initiatives for the Washington Commanders. With over two decades of experience in the NFL, including a long tenure at the league office, Gardi will now oversee various aspects of football operations for the Titans, reporting directly to General Manager Mike Borgonzi.

In his previous role with the Washington Commanders, Gardi supported the coaching staff and front office in critical areas such as in-game management, compliance with league protocols, officiating trends analysis, and acting as a liaison to the league office. During his time at the NFL league office, Gardi played a key role in developing policies and procedures to maintain competitive balance and uphold the integrity of the game, while also managing league rules on gamedays.

Before joining the league office, Gardi provided guidance to clubs on matters related to the NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement, including player contracts, salary cap issues, and league policies. A former quarterback at Brown University with a bachelor's degree in political science, Gardi also holds a Doctor of Law degree from Hofstra University. The Titans are excited to welcome Gardi and his family to Tennessee, confident that his wealth of experience and expertise will have an immediate impact on the team's operations.
