Enhancing the I-35 Frontage Road: Community Open House in Moore, Oklahoma

A community open house will be held later this month in Moore, Oklahoma, to discuss improvements to the I-35 frontage road. The Oklahoma Department of Transportation and the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority are hosting the event to address the I-35 frontage road and ramp enhancements related to the OTA Toby Keith Expressway at I-35 project. The design efforts to enhance the I-35 frontage roads and ramps from S.W. 34th St. to S.W. 19th St. in Moore are being led by ODOT. Additionally, OTA is spearheading the proposed development of the Toby Keith Expressway and associated I-35 improvements from Franklin Road in Norman to S.W. 34th St. in Moore.

Residents, local businesses, and community members interested in the project are encouraged to attend the open house to meet the project team, view renderings, and gain insights into the construction plans. Representatives from ODOT and OTA will be present to address questions and provide details about the upcoming project phases. Informational displays will showcase key aspects of the planned improvements.

The I-35 Corridor Community Open House is set to take place on Wednesday, May 27, from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at The Station at Central Park, situated at 700 S. Broadway Ave., in Moore. This event offers an opportunity for stakeholders to engage with the project team, understand the proposed enhancements, and contribute to the ongoing dialogue about the future of the I-35 frontage road and ramp improvements in Moore.
