Michigan Men's Basketball Team Returns to Players Era Championships in Las Vegas for 2026-27 Season

Michigan men’s basketball team is set to return to the Players Era Championships in Las Vegas for the 2026-27 season. The full bracket has been revealed, with Michigan facing Creighton in the first round. If they advance, they will play the winner of Miami and TCU. This year's tournament format includes an eight-team bracket before Thanksgiving and a 16-team bracket during Thanksgiving week, starting on Nov. 26. Michigan will compete in the 16-team bracket alongside teams like Tennessee, St. John’s, Gonzaga, Louisville, Alabama, Baylor, and Miami.

Last season, Michigan dominated the Players Era Championship, winning the tournament with convincing victories over San Diego State, Auburn, and Gonzaga. The event set the stage for Michigan's successful season and national championship run. The Wolverines will have the opportunity to defend their title in Las Vegas once again in 2026.
