Fans who qualify as top fans will receive an email and in-app notification allowing them to purchase two tickets to the artist's show. Eligible fans in the U.S. who are 18 or older will have a dedicated window of around a day to buy tickets. Spotify will facilitate the ticket sale, but users will need to complete the purchase on a partner's website.
The program will start this summer with select artists and will gradually expand to include tours of various sizes. Fans who receive an offer can choose the show date, location, and seats based on availability.
