Charlie Heaton Joins the Shelby Family in the New Season of Peaky Blinders

Charlie Heaton, known for his role in Stranger Things, has been spotted in the upcoming season of Peaky Blinders. Set in 1950s Birmingham, the new series will focus on the Shelby family's struggles post-World War II. Heaton portrays Charles Shelby, a war veteran who returns home after being away behind enemy lines, distancing himself from the Shelby gang's criminal activities.

The storyline will delve into Charles' reunion with his estranged half-brother Duke, played by Jamie Bell. The next installment of Peaky Blinders follows the events of the previous series, with Cillian Murphy reprising his role as the ruthless gang leader Tommy Shelby. The narrative picks up ten years after the events of the feature-length film Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, where Barry Keoghan portrayed Duke.

Joining the cast for the new series are Lashana Lynch and Jessica Brown Findlay. The upcoming season, consisting of two sets of six hour-long episodes, will premiere on BBC iPlayer and BBC One in the UK, as well as on Netflix globally. Peaky Blinders, which first aired in 2013, gained international acclaim and won the Bafta award for best drama series in 2018.
