Pearl Jam Announces New Drummer for Ohana Fest Debut

Pearl Jam has announced a new drummer following Matt Cameron's departure after 27 years with the band. The identity of the new drummer will be revealed during the band's performance at Eddie Vedder's Ohana Fest in September. Stone Gossard expressed excitement about the mystery surrounding the new drummer and the upcoming performance at the festival.
The Ohana Festival will be Pearl Jam's first show since the Dark Matter World Tour concluded in May 2025. Matt Cameron, who joined the band in 1998, bid farewell to Pearl Jam after nearly three decades of drumming with the group. Gossard praised Cameron's contributions and expressed gratitude for his time with the band.
While the new drummer's identity remains unknown, it has been confirmed that it is not Dave Krusen, the band's original drummer. Pearl Jam will introduce their new drummer during their performance at the Ohana Fest, which will feature a lineup of various artists including Eddie Vedder & Friends, Billy Idol, Alabama Shakes, and more. Tickets and details for the festival can be found on the event's website.
