Judas Priest Bassist Ian Hill Talks Future of the Band and Upcoming Album
Judas Priest's bassist Ian Hill believes that the band could continue to thrive even after its original members have retired. Hill, who has been with the heavy metal group since 1970, expressed confidence in the band's ability to carry on with new members once he and singer Rob Halford decide to step down. While Hill is not considering retirement at the moment, he mentioned that if the band's performance were to suffer, it might be time to think about hanging it up. He also provided an update on the progress of Judas Priest's next album, stating that most of the music has been recorded, with vocals being worked on in Phoenix. The bassist described the upcoming album as a classic Priest record with a traditional and slightly quirky touch, hinting at a potential release in the spring of 2027.
