The show, created by Kyle Hart and executive produced by Subban, Damon D'Oliveira, and Clement Virgo, aims to showcase the journey to the NHL.
In addition to these series, the CBC will also feature Cold Country, a limited series created by Shane Belcourt and Tasha Hubbard. The show, starring Sarah Podemski, Chaske Spencer, and Michael Greyeyes, explores a true crime story involving two indigenous men found frozen to death in a remote location. The network will also air Snow King, a documentary series directed by Chelsea McMullan, which follows the story of Olympic snowboarder Ryan Wedding, who is accused of being a drug kingpin.
The CBC's upcoming lineup promises a diverse range of shows, from workplace comedies to true crime dramas, featuring both established and emerging talent. With a mix of familiar faces and fresh perspectives, the network aims to captivate audiences with compelling storytelling and engaging characters.
