Pantera Rocks Frankfurt: A Recap of Their Epic Performance Opening for Metallica at Deutsche Bank Park
Pantera recently took the stage in Frankfurt, Germany, as they opened for Metallica at Deutsche Bank Park. The band, consisting of Phil Anselmo, Rex Brown, Zakk Wylde, and Charlie Benante, performed an 11-song set that featured tracks primarily from their albums "Vulgar Display of Power" and "Far Beyond Driven," with a few selections from "Cowboys From Hell." Benante, who also plays in Anthrax, had to skip Anthrax's show in Athens to perform with Pantera and was replaced by Darby Todd. Pantera has upcoming shows with Metallica in Dublin and London before heading to Athens and Istanbul, followed by a performance at Louder Than Life in Louisville on Sept. 17.
