The 52nd Annual American Music Awards took place in Las Vegas, with Queen Latifah hosting the event live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena. BTS emerged as the night's big winners, clinching Artist of the Year, Song of the Summer, and Best Male K-Pop Artist. Sabrina Carpenter also had a successful evening, winning Album of the Year, Best Pop Album, and Best Female Pop Artist. Despite leading in nominations, Taylor Swift left empty-handed.
