Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Revamped: A Muppet Musical Experience at Walt Disney World
Experience the Muppet magic on the newly revamped Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster at Walt Disney World. The iconic Aerosmith tunes have been replaced by the groovy sounds of Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, bringing a fresh twist to the high-speed coaster experience. The Imagineers faced the challenge of selecting the perfect set list for the ride, testing over 200 songs before finalizing the lineup.
During a preview event for Walt Disney World's Cool Kid's Summer, CinemaBlend had the opportunity to speak with Imagineer David Brescia about the music selection process. The final set list features a mix of classic rock hits and Electric Mayhem chaos, with standout collaborations from major artists like Def Leppard. Guests will need to ride multiple times to hear all the tracks, as only one song plays per experience.
Despite the musical makeover, the essence of Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster remains intact, offering the same adrenaline-pumping thrills with a Muppet twist. The updated attraction appeals to a broader audience while retaining the beloved energy of the original ride.
