Tragic Fatal Crash on Monticello Road in Richland County: Driver Killed in Collision with Deer
A fatal crash in Richland County has claimed the life of a driver, as reported by the South Carolina Highway Patrol. The incident took place on Monticello Road around 1 a.m. on Tuesday. The driver of a Hyundai was heading North on Monticello Road when the vehicle struck a deer, veered off the road, and collided with multiple trees. Unfortunately, the driver did not survive the crash. The passenger in the car sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently investigating the collision.
