2026 College Football Season: Big Ten and Notre Dame Games on NBC and Peacock

The 2026 college football season kicks off with NBC Sports broadcasting 11 Big Ten and Notre Dame Football games on NBC and Peacock in the first four weeks. The coverage starts with the USC Trojans hosting the San Jose State Spartans on August 29. The Week 1 schedule includes the Minnesota Golden Gophers facing the Eastern Illinois Panthers on September 3. Michigan will host the Western Michigan Broncos in Kyle Whittingham's debut as head coach on September 5. The following day, Washington will play Washington State, and Notre Dame will face Wisconsin at Lambeau Field on September 6.
In Week 2, the Iowa Hawkeyes will host the Iowa State Cyclones in the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series on September 12. Week 3 will feature a quadruple-header on September 19, including matchups between Eastern Michigan and Wisconsin, Southern Illinois and Illinois, Indiana and Western Kentucky, and Notre Dame and Michigan State. The season will also see the Minnesota Golden Gophers visiting the Wisconsin Badgers on Black Friday.
Notre Dame's 36th season on NBC will include primetime games against Wisconsin, Michigan State, Miami, and SMU.
