Title: "Atlanta Falcons HBCU Fellows Program 2026: Cultivating Future Leaders in Sports and Entertainment
The Atlanta Falcons and Wells Fargo have announced the 2026 cohort of the Atlanta Falcons HBCU Fellows Program. This unique fellowship offers college students from Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Morris Brown College, and Spelman College an eight-week paid program in the fall to gain real-world experience and create career pathways. The program, now in its fourth year, kicked off on May 1st with an immersive orientation that included access to Atlanta's music and entertainment industry and community service activities.
The 17 selected Fellows participated in a Creative Currency Experience on May 1st, where they engaged with Grammy-Award-winning producer Jermaine Dupri, music executive Amir Windom, and representatives from Wells Fargo, the Atlanta Falcons, and Atlanta Habitat for Humanity. The Fellows explored a recording studio, had a fireside chat on creativity, financial education, civic engagement, and life lessons, and joined Falcons staff and Wells Fargo volunteers for a home build on May 4th as part of the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project's 40th annual week of builds.
Jermaine Dupri emphasized the importance of connecting creativity, culture, and community in Atlanta, while Wells Fargo's Tai Roberson highlighted the program's focus on opening doors to professional opportunities, mentorship, and meaningful experiences for students. The Fellows will gain practical experience and build professional networks within the Atlanta Falcons and AMB Sports and Entertainment offices throughout the program.
The program has seen exceptional talent emerge from Atlanta's HBCUs since its inception, with 41 alumni shaping the future of the sports and entertainment industry. The 2026 cohort of Atlanta Falcons HBCU Fellows represents the next generation of leaders, continuing the legacy of learning, giving back, and strengthening their communities.
