Green Bay Packers 2026 Offseason Recap and Training Camp Preview
The NFL offseason is in full swing as teams kick off their organized team activities this week. Over the next three weeks, teams will have OTAs before a month-long break leading up to training camp in mid-to-end July. We will be looking at the major offseason changes for all 32 teams and previewing what to expect from each team as they head into training camp. Here is our 2026 training camp preview for the Green Bay Packers.
The Green Bay Packers' voluntary OTAs are scheduled for May 26-27, June 1-2, June 4, June 15-16, and June 18, with mandatory minicamp set for June 9-11. Training camp is expected to start in mid-July, with the NFL Hall of Fame game on Aug. 6.
The Packers have made some notable additions and losses this offseason. They lost key players like QB Malik Willis, WR Romeo Doubs, OT Rasheed Walker, C Elgton Jenkins, DE Rashan Gary, LB Quay Walker, and CB Nate Hobbs. However, the core of their team remains intact. Second-round pick CB Brandon Cisse and fourth-round pick DE Dani Dennis-Sutton are expected to fill the void left by some of the departed players.
Despite the changes, the Packers face a tough road ahead. They have the third-toughest schedule in the NFL for the upcoming season, with opponents boasting a combined .538 win percentage from last season. Additionally, they compete in one of the toughest divisions in football, with the Chicago Bears as the reigning NFC North champions and the Detroit Lions showing promise.
While double-digit wins are possible for the Packers, securing a playoff spot will be challenging unless either the Bears or Lions underperform. The team will need to navigate through a competitive division and tough schedule to make a postseason run in 2026.
