Experience the Magic of Music: The Jackson Symphony Orchestra's 2026-2027 Season
The Jackson Symphony Orchestra has announced its upcoming 2026-2027 season with the theme "Connect. Experience. Resonate." The season will feature a variety of performances, including classical concerts, Music on Tap shows, and special events like "The Nutcracker." Renowned pianist Orli Shaham will showcase music by Ravel with visual projections by Camilla Tassi on April 24 at the Jackson College Potter Center.
Season tickets are available with options for a full Classical Series, Music on Tap, or a combined subscription starting at $106 per person. First-time season ticket buyers can enjoy a 50% discount on the Classical Concert Series subscription. Flex Passes are also available starting at $76 per person, offering up to 15% off when purchasing four, five, or six concerts.
The classical series will kick off on Oct. 17 with "Gershwin's Greatest" at the Potter Center, followed by "West Side Story" on Nov. 14. The season will continue with various performances, including From Mozart to the Romantics, Strauss & Mahler, and the Orli Shaham concert in April. The Music on Tap series at Weatherwax Hall will feature diverse acts such as Mardi Gras Night, Country Night, Comedy Night, Jazz Night, and Celtic Festival.
Special events include free Summer Pops concerts in downtown Jackson and Albion, as well as Concert Aglow evenings dedicated to Taylor Swift music and Classic Rock. The season will conclude with Spring Pops: Classical Mystery Tour Tribute to the Beatles in May 2027 at the Potter Center.
