Former Pittsburgh Basketball Star Arrested for Failure to Pay Child Support
A professional basketball player from Pittsburgh has been arrested by the Allegheny County Sheriff's Office for failing to pay over $100,000 in child support. DeAndre Kane, a 36-year-old athlete who attended Schenley High School and played in the City League, has been playing basketball internationally since 2014. Despite living in Iceland, Kane was apprehended by detectives at Pittsburgh International Airport upon his return from Iceland. He is currently in custody at the Allegheny County Jail and is awaiting a family court hearing.
