Man in Pennsylvania Faces Charges for Using Excavator to Partially Demolish Home with Family Inside

A man in Pennsylvania is facing serious charges after reportedly using an excavator to partially demolish his home while his family was inside. Erik Pierwsza, 48, is accused of endangering his wife and two children by causing a catastrophe and engaging in disorderly conduct. The incident took place in Buffalo Township, located near Pittsburgh. The Buffalo Township Police Department has not provided additional details about the case.

Pierwsza allegedly initiated the destruction of his home following an argument, during which he threatened to tear down the house. He then proceeded to operate the excavator, resulting in significant damage to the property. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the incident. Pierwsza is currently in custody at Butler County Prison on a $10,000 bond.

The court documents do not indicate that Pierwsza has legal representation at this time. The situation is still under investigation, and further updates may be provided as more information becomes available.
