Sun Valley Shooting Incident: Suspects Arrested After Fleeing Vehicle Stop
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating an incident involving reports of individuals firing weapons in a crowded area of Sun Valley. Deputies tried to stop a vehicle linked to the incident, leading to one suspect fleeing on foot before being captured and arrested. The Regional Aviation Enforcement Unit (RAVEN) provided aerial surveillance of the vehicle, which was eventually stopped on the southbound Golden Valley on-ramp.
