Tragic Three-Vehicle Crash Claims Life of 19-Year-Old Woman in Marion County
A tragic three-vehicle crash occurred in Marion County, resulting in the death of a 19-year-old woman from Caledonia. The incident involved a Hyundai Elantra driven by the victim, a GMC Acadia driven by a Marion resident, and a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a Galion resident. The crash took place on Ohio 309 in Claridon Township. The preliminary investigation revealed that the Caledonia woman failed to maintain a safe distance and collided with the GMC Acadia before being struck by the Jeep Grand Cherokee. The victim was ejected from her vehicle and later pronounced dead at Marion General Hospital. The other drivers sustained injuries but are in stable condition.
