Duran Duran Announces UK Arena Tour: Get Ready for an Unforgettable Concert Experience!
Duran Duran, the iconic British band led by singer Simon Le Bon, has announced a major UK arena tour for this autumn. The tour will kick off at Glasgow's OVO Hydro and will include stops in Belfast, Liverpool, and Leeds. Indie favorites Pigeon will join the band as special guests at Birmingham's Utilita Arena. The band released their latest single, "Free To Love," with Nile Rodgers in April and will headline London's British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park on July 5, supported by Scissor Sisters.
The tour will also take Duran Duran across Europe, with concerts scheduled in cities like Oslo, Stockholm, Hamburg, Cologne, Brussels, and Paris. The band, completed by keyboardist Nick Rhodes, bassist John Taylor, and drummer Roger Taylor, is known for classic hits such as "Rio," "Hungry Like The Wolf," and "A View To A Kill," the theme song for the 1985 James Bond film.
With over 100 million records sold worldwide, Duran Duran has achieved two UK number-one singles, a chart-topping album, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022. The band last played in Liverpool in 2015 at the then-ECHO arena. Tickets for the UK tour will go on general sale on Friday, June 5, via myticket.co.uk, with presale access available on June 3 and June 4.
