Pharrell Williams x Moët & Chandon: Summer Collaboration Unveils Limited-Edition Ice Impérial Champagne Bottle

Pharrell Williams has collaborated with Moët & Chandon for a new summer campaign and limited-edition Champagne bottle designed for enjoying on ice. The singer was photographed in Saint-Tropez, where the tradition of drinking Champagne on ice, known as a "piscine," originated. Inspired by this practice, Moët & Chandon introduced Ice Impérial Champagne in 2011, specifically crafted for this purpose.

Following their successful collaboration last year, Williams has now put his name on a special edition of Ice Impérial, presented without its usual white sleeve. The new bottle will be available for purchase at 54 euros. The campaign will include outdoor advertisements in various locations worldwide, such as the U.S., Germany, and Hong Kong, as well as takeovers in hotels and beach clubs in destinations like Sardinia, Mallorca, and Tokyo.

As the creative director of menswear at Louis Vuitton, Williams is a natural fit for Moët & Chandon, which is part of the luxury conglomerate LVMH. He is known for his attention to detail and creating immersive experiences, evident in his work with Vuitton and his ventures in the hospitality industry. Williams emphasized the importance of personal preference when it comes to enjoying Champagne, suggesting the Ice Impérial be served in a large wine glass with three ice cubes.

Saint-Tropez holds a special place in Williams' heart, known for its transformative allure and celebrity visitors like Beyoncé and Jay-Z. Moët & Chandon's partnership with Williams and Formula 1 sponsorship aims to boost sales amid a global decline in luxury spending. Despite challenges in the Champagne market, the brand remains resilient, as noted by LVMH chairman Bernard Arnault during the annual results press conference.
