An Austrian citizen, known as Beran A., has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for planning a terrorist attack on Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert in Vienna in 2024. The 21-year-old pleaded guilty to planning the attack but denied other charges related to terrorism. He was found guilty on several charges, including those linked to the concert.

The man expressed remorse for his actions during the court proceedings.
The planned attack was intended to target people outside Vienna's Ernst Happel Stadium, where a large number of visitors were expected. Beran A. had planned to use knives and bombs to harm the crowd gathered outside the stadium.
