Louisiana Rapper Boosie Badazz Faces Felony Assault Charges in Houston Nightclub Incident

Louisiana rapper Boosie Badazz is facing charges in Harris County for allegedly assaulting a security guard with a hookah at a nightclub in downtown Houston. Boosie, whose real name is Torrence Ivy Hatch Jr., is charged with felony aggravated assault for hitting a man in the back of his head with the glass base of a hookah. He is scheduled to appear in Harris County court on Monday morning at 9 a.m. without being arrested.
The incident reportedly occurred at a Houston nightclub during the Memorial Holiday weekend as the club was closing for the night. Police claim that a security guard denied a woman access to the restroom, leading to a confrontation. The security guard was allegedly struck in the head with a glass bottle from behind, causing him to require eight staples in his head. The guard identified Boosie as the one holding the broken glass hookah base.
A warrant has been issued for Boosie Badazz's arrest in connection with the assault. FOX 26 is seeking a comment from Boosie's legal representation regarding the incident.
