Meijer LPGA Classic: Affordable Family Fun for All Ages

The Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give is dedicated to providing affordable, family-friendly amenities for all attendees. The event, organized by Meijer, a family-owned company, aims to create meaningful experiences for families of all ages. Children aged 17 and under can enter the tournament for free when accompanied by a ticketed adult. General admission tickets are available for as low as $10 per day and can be purchased on the event's website.

Discovery Land, a popular open-air kids destination at the tournament, offers a variety of kid-friendly activities, including art stations, face painting, and outdoor lawn games. Character visits, magic shows, and storybook readings are also part of the entertainment lineup. Complimentary food and beverage samples from tournament partners will be available, and live tournament coverage will be displayed on digital boards.

Family Care Areas at the event provide air-conditioned tents with locking rooms, lactation stations, and diaper changing facilities. The tournament was the first on the LPGA Tour to introduce specific rooms for lactation and diaper changing on the golf course in 2019. Grand Taste Concession locations offer affordable food options for families, with items priced at $4 or less, including cheeseburgers, hotdogs, and Meijer Purple Cow ice cream.

The Meijer LPGA 5K presented by RXBAR will take place on June 20th at Rockford High School, starting at 8 AM. Runners of all ages can participate in the family-friendly race before enjoying the tournament action at Blythefield Country Club. Registration costs $25 for adults and $15 for individuals aged 17 and younger, and includes a branded T-shirt, drawstring bag, finisher medal, complimentary breakfast, and two daily grounds passes to the tournament.
