Giorgio Locatelli Joins Celebrity MasterChef as New Judge for 21st Series

The upcoming series of Celebrity MasterChef will feature a new judge alongside Grace Dent, as Giorgio Locatelli joins the show. Locatelli, a renowned chef and restaurateur, is known for his role as a judge on the Italian version of the cooking show. He brings his expertise to the 21st series of the BBC spin-off programme, where he will be the "bad cop" judge, focusing on cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Locatelli shared his experience on the Table Manners podcast, highlighting the growth he witnessed in the celebrity contestants throughout the series. While the contestants are yet to be revealed, Locatelli mentioned being impressed by the quality of dishes from one particular star. The show challenges celebrities from various fields to showcase their culinary skills, with judges like Locatelli guiding them through the competition.
Celebrity MasterChef puts celebrities through a series of cooking challenges until one emerges victorious and claims the coveted trophy. Locatelli's addition to the show comes after the departure of former judge John Torode, who was let go from the BBC due to allegations of racist language. Grace Dent replaced Gregg Wallace on the show, who faced misconduct allegations during his time as a presenter.
