The Snow League Season Two: Exciting Competitions, Global Expansion, and Iconic Venues

The Snow League is set to make a comeback for its second season, with Buttermilk Ski Area in Aspen hosting Event One from Jan. 7-9, 2027. The series will also visit Park City, Utah, and Laax, Switzerland, for regular-season stops, with New Zealand's Cardrona Alpine Resort hosting the Snow League World Challenge in September 2026. The CEO of The Snow League, Omer Atesmen, expressed excitement about the upcoming season and the league's expansion globally.
Shaun White, the snowboard legend and founder of The Snow League, introduced the unique head-to-head format for halfpipe contests. Season One saw Yuto Totsuka and Sena Tomita winning the men's and women's snowboard titles, while Luke Harrold and Eileen Gu claimed the freeski crowns. Season Two will feature an expanded presence of skiers with a three-day competition format.
The Snow League World Challenge in New Zealand will bring together 16 athletes from four regions in a unique international team format. The event is designed to celebrate international competition and showcase top snow sport athletes.
