Power: Legacy - A New Chapter in the Power Universe

Starz has announced the greenlight for a new Power spinoff series called Power: Legacy, which will consist of eight episodes. The show will feature Michael Rainey, Jr. reprising his role as Tariq St. Patrick and Joseph Sikora returning as Tommy Egan. Unlike previous Power shows, Starz will co-produce Power: Legacy with Lionsgate Television.
Both Rainey Jr. and Sikora have already starred in spinoffs of the original Power series, with Rainey Jr. in Power Book II: Ghost and Sikora in Power Book IV: Force. Power: Legacy will see Tommy returning to New York and teaming up with Tariq, Ghost's son, to make their mark on the city. Executive producer Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson expressed excitement about bringing these characters back together and continuing the Power saga.
Starz's president of original programming, Kathryn Busby, emphasized the show's evolution based on fan feedback and its cultural impact over the years. Showrunner Gary Lennon shared his enthusiasm for continuing Tommy and Tariq's story in Power: Legacy, promising an electrifying narrative that explores the dynamics of power in the city.
In addition to Power: Legacy, the Power Universe includes other spinoffs like Power Book III: Raising Kanan, which is set to premiere its final season on June 12, and Power: Origins, currently in production to explore the origin story of Ghost and Tommy. Stay tuned for more updates on the expanding Power Universe.
