Pittsburgh Weekend Extravaganza: Three Rivers Arts Festival, Morgan Wallen Concerts, and Pride Festival

This weekend in Pittsburgh is set to be bustling with exciting events, including the kickoff of the Three Rivers Arts Festival, the Pittsburgh Pride Festival, and two sold-out Morgan Wallen concerts. The Three Rivers Arts Festival will commence on Friday at the new Arts Landing in Pittsburgh's Cultural District, featuring musical performances on multiple stages and vendors along Fort Duquesne Boulevard. The festival will run from June 5-7 and June 11-14, offering free admission to the public.

Meanwhile, country and pop star Morgan Wallen will take the stage at Acrisure Stadium on both Friday and Saturday nights for his "Still The Problem Tour." The lineup includes opening acts such as Brooks & Dunn, Gavin Adcock, Zack John King, and Ella Langley. Parking lots will open at 12:30 p.m., with gates opening at 4:30 p.m. and the NFL's clear bag policy in effect for the event.

On Saturday, the Pittsburgh Pride Festival will kick off at 12 p.m. in Allegheny Commons Park, featuring live entertainment, vendors, games, and more. The festival, organized by LGBTQ+ organizations, is the largest pride celebration in the region. The Pittsburgh Pride March & Parade will take place on Sunday, starting at 12 p.m. near the Strip District in Downtown Pittsburgh.

As these events unfold, there is a possibility of severe weather on Saturday afternoon and evening, with the National Weather Service warning of potential severe thunderstorms bringing damaging wind and large hail. Stay informed and prepared if you have plans in and around the city this weekend.
