Rolling Stones Unveil Music Video for 'In The Stars' from Upcoming Album 'Foreign Tongues

The Rolling Stones have released the music video for their latest track, ‘In The Stars,’ from their upcoming album, Foreign Tongues, set to be released on July 10. The album, consisting of 14 tracks, follows the success of their Grammy-winning 2023 album, Hackney Diamonds. Directed by Francois Rousselet, the video features actress Odessa A’zion alongside digitally de-aged versions of the band members performing in a surreal house-party setting using deepfake technology.
The young versions of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood are seen performing ‘In The Stars’ alongside musicians from different eras. A’zion expressed her excitement about working with the Rolling Stones, stating that it was a dream come true for her. Foreign Tongues was recorded in under a month at London’s Metropolis Studios with producer Andrew Watt, who also worked on Hackney Diamonds. The album is described as a dynamic and forward-looking record that maintains the band’s iconic sound while exploring new sonic and lyrical territories, solidifying their legendary status.
The album features guest appearances from renowned artists such as Paul McCartney, Steve Winwood, Robert Smith, and Chad Smith. It also includes a contribution from the late drummer Charlie Watts, taken from one of his final recording sessions before his passing in 2021. ‘Foreign Tongues’ is now available for preorder, and the music video for ‘In The Stars’ can be viewed online.
