Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Raynham: Investigation Underway by Raynham Police and State Authorities

A serious crash involving a motorcycle occurred in Raynham, prompting a response from the Raynham Police and Fire Departments. The incident took place at the intersection of South Street East and Hill Street, where a 2010 Ford Explorer collided with a 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The collision resulted in the motorcycle driver, a 52-year-old New Bedford man, being transported to Morton Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Raynham Fire requested a medical helicopter for the injured motorcyclist, but he was ultimately transported by Raynham Rescue to the hospital. The Massachusetts State Police, along with the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office and the MSP’s Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Section, joined the investigation to assist Raynham Police Detectives in determining the cause of the crash.
