Dynamo, also known as Steven Frayne, has become a prominent figure in modern magic and is set to embark on a journey across America to follow in Houdini's footsteps.

The three-part series will showcase Dynamo pushing the boundaries of his skills as he retraces Houdini's steps, posing the question of what Houdini would do if he were alive today. The episodes promise to combine storytelling, magic, and spectacle to honor the legacy of one of history's greatest showmen while highlighting Dynamo's exceptional talent and innovation in the world of magic.

Shirley Jones, head of entertainment commissioning at Sky, expressed excitement about collaborating with Dynamo on the series, emphasizing the tribute to Houdini's enduring legacy and Dynamo's remarkable abilities. The show is a co-production between Shine TV and Seventeen17, with Rowland French serving as the showrunner and executive producer. Dynamo vs Houdini was commissioned by Phil Edgar-Jones, executive director of unscripted originals at Sky, under the leadership of Cécile Frot-Coutaz, chief advertising and content officer at Sky and CEO of Sky Studios. The series is set to captivate audiences with its blend of magic, storytelling, and tribute to the iconic magicians Dynamo and Houdini.
