James Blewett and Chris Lane Triumph at Wall Stadium on Pack the Track Night
James Blewett from Howell, NJ, emerged victorious in the Sportsman main event at Wall Stadium on Pack the Track Night. Chris Lane from Waretown, NJ, also secured a win in the O'Shea's Auto Repair Factory Stock main event before the racing program was cut short due to inclement weather. Blewett led the field from the start and fended off Tyler Ferris to claim the victory.
In the Sportsman race, Blewett took the lead early and maintained his position at the front of the pack. Despite challenges from Ferris and other competitors, Blewett held on to secure the win. The first caution came when Branden Sullivan spun out, but Blewett maintained his lead on the restart. Ferris made a late charge but was unable to catch Blewett, who crossed the finish line first.
In the O'Shea's Auto Repair Factory Stock main event, Brian Osborn and Nick Bilello led the field, but Chris Lane quickly moved up the ranks to take the lead. Lane held off Bryan O'Shea in a close finish to claim the victory. The race was cut short due to weather conditions, with the Surf Side 4-Cylinder feature also postponed.
Wall Stadium will host the 66th Annual Garden State Classic 125 for the NASCAR Modifieds on June 13th, offering a $5,000 prize to the winner. The event will also feature the Triple Crown Summer Slam for the Natural Design Company INEX Legend Cars and other competitions. Adult admission is $35, with discounts for seniors, military personnel, and children.
