Anakin Skywalker Returns in Star Wars Zero Company: A Tactical Video Game Adventure

Anakin Skywalker is making a comeback in a new Star Wars project set to be released this year. The character, known for his appearances in various Star Wars films and series, will be featured in a tactical video game called Star Wars Zero Company. The game, developed by EA, Respawn Entertainment, and Bit Reactor, was announced last year and will include a cameo appearance by Anakin Skywalker, as revealed in a recent trailer.

In the trailer, Anakin is seen in his Jedi robes, wielding a blue lightsaber, hinting that the character has not yet turned to the dark side in the game's storyline. Star Wars Zero Company is a single-player turn-based tactics game inspired by XCOM, set during the Clone Wars era. Players will take on the role of Hawks, a disgraced Republic Officer leading the rogue group of mercenaries known as "Zero Company."

The game will allow players to create their own squad members and influence their relationships with Hawks. Iconic locations from the Star Wars films, such as Vandor and Mapuzo, will be featured in the game. Anakin's appearance in the trailer confirms that the character will be based on actor Hayden Christensen's likeness, who has reprised the role in other Star Wars projects.

Star Wars Zero Company is scheduled to be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on August 27, 2026. Fans of the Star Wars franchise can look forward to experiencing the adventures of Anakin Skywalker and the Zero Company in this exciting new game.
