Kyle Chrisley: A Troubled Past and Ongoing Legal Battles

Kyle Chrisley, the son of Todd Chrisley and Teresa Terry, has been indicted on multiple charges following his arrest in December 2025. A Tennessee grand jury indicted Kyle on three counts of assault on law enforcement, three counts of retaliation for past action, one count of resisting arrest, one count of disorderly conduct, and one count of public intoxication. Court documents reveal that Kyle allegedly assaulted a police officer by striking them with a hand or fist and threatened to kill an officer for being arrested and resisting arrest.

During his December 2025 arrest, Kyle's wife, Ashleigh Nelson, reported to Rutherford County sheriff deputies that he was behaving belligerently and walking down the middle of the road. When officers tried to approach him, he reportedly became aggressive. The misdemeanor domestic assault charge filed against him at the time was later dismissed after his indictment.

This is not the first time Kyle has had legal issues. In 2013, he was arrested for assault, leading Todd and Julie Chrisley to gain custody of Kyle's daughter, Chloe. Kyle was also arrested in September 2024 for aggravated assault, and in August 2025, he and Nelson sued Rutherford County and sheriff deputies for $1.7 million, claiming unfair arrest.

Kyle Chrisley's legal troubles have been ongoing, with multiple arrests and charges over the years. Despite the dismissals and legal battles, his encounters with law enforcement continue to make headlines.
