Pepper's Senior Dog Sanctuary Gala: Pepper 'Em with Love Fundraiser at Mission Ballroom

Pepper's Senior Dog Sanctuary is a nonprofit organization that offers a loving home to older dogs in need. Established in 2020 and located on a 50-acre ranch in Roxborough Park, the sanctuary focuses on caring for older, unadoptable, and medically complex dogs from shelters. The Executive Director, Justin Klemer, emphasizes the importance of providing these dogs with a forever home at the sanctuary.

The sanctuary is hosting a fundraising gala called Pepper 'Em with Love at the Mission Ballroom, featuring a performance by singer-songwriter Pat Benatar and producer-musician Neil Giraldo. Attendees can enjoy a seated dinner, cocktail hour, red carpet opportunities with senior dogs, live and silent auctions, and an inspiring program. One of the sanctuary's programs includes inviting schools, senior centers, and hospitals to visit and spend time with the dogs.

All proceeds from the gala will support the veterinary care, food, and overall well-being of the senior dogs residing at the sanctuary. Klemer highlights the decline in adoptability of older dogs and emphasizes the sanctuary's role in providing a home for these dogs.
