Radio 2 in the Park: Unveiling the Spectacular Line-Up for the Stirling Event!
Radio 2 in the Park has announced its exciting line-up for the event at City Park in Stirling, Scotland from September 11th to 13th. The headliners include the legendary Chaka Khan on Saturday and the popular rock band Simple Minds on Sunday, marking their only UK performance this year. The pre-party on Friday will feature DJ sets from Radio 2 presenters Sara Cox, DJ Spoony, Gary Davies, Michelle Visage, and Rylan. Chaka Khan expressed her excitement about performing in Stirling, while Simple Minds' Jim Kerr shared his enthusiasm for their special UK gig.
Joining the star-studded line-up are Emeli Sandé, Lulu, James Blunt, Jack Savoretti, and Blue, among others. The Script's Danny O'Donoghue teased a performance of "Superheroes" at Stirling Castle and promised to play all the hits. Jeff Smith, Head of Music for Radio 2, highlighted the diverse range of artists and musical genres that will be showcased at the event, offering something for everyone.
Tickets for the Friday pre-party and the main event on Saturday and Sunday will go on sale on June 10th. Prices start at £40 for the pre-party and £84 for the main event.
