AMC Theatres Postpones Live Concert Series Featuring Bebe Rexha, Paris Hilton, Kim Petras, and Maren Morris
AMC Theatres has decided to delay its plans to broadcast live concerts featuring artists like Bebe Rexha, Paris Hilton, Kim Petras, and Maren Morris. This decision comes after a successful run of summer movie releases such as "Backrooms," "Scary Movie," and "Obsession," and in anticipation of upcoming blockbusters like "Toy Story 5." The cinema chain announced that it will be adjusting its programming for the month of June due to the strong performance of films at the box office.
The company had collaborated with Arena One for the series called AMC Girls Night Live, which will now be rescheduled for later in 2026. AMC stated that tickets purchased for the original dates will be refunded. Despite the postponement, AMC expressed enthusiasm for its partnership with Arena One and promised to announce new dates and additional artists in the coming weeks and months.
Originally scheduled to begin with Bebe Rexha on June 17, followed by Paris Hilton on June 18, Kim Petras on June 19, and Maren Morris on June 20, the concerts were intended to provide alternative content to boost ticket sales. However, with the summer box office performing well, AMC believes that delaying the series could help balance out a potentially weaker film lineup later in 2026.
AMC is optimistic about the future of its partnership with Arena One and is looking forward to rescheduling the live concert series with a new lineup of artists. Stay tuned for updates on the revised dates and additional performers as AMC continues to adjust its programming to meet audience expectations.
