Zurich Film Festival Welcomes Martin Moszkowicz as New President and Board Members

The Zurich Film Festival (ZFF) has announced the appointment of Martin Moszkowicz as its new president, starting from July 1, 2026. Moszkowicz will succeed Doris Fiala, who served as president for one year. Additionally, the festival has welcomed two new board members, Sabine Boss and Claudia Lasser.

Martin Moszkowicz brings over 30 years of experience from his time at Constantin Film, where he held various roles, including chairman. He has been involved in producing, executive producing, and co-producing over 300 film and television projects. Moszkowicz is also the head of the production and media business programme at the University of Television and Film Munich since 2019.

Moszkowicz expressed his excitement about the potential for the Zurich Film Festival to become a globally recognized brand in the future. He highlighted the Zurich Summit as a key initiative that has established itself as a leading platform for the global film industry.

ZFF CEO Christian Jungen praised Moszkowicz's appointment, emphasizing his creative background and extensive network in Munich and Los Angeles. Jungen believes that Moszkowicz will help strengthen the festival's presence in Germany and the United States, its two key international markets.

Jungen also thanked outgoing president Doris Fiala for her dedication to the festival. With the addition of Martin Moszkowicz, Sabine Boss, and Claudia Lasser, the ZFF board now includes Thomas Hugi and Felix E. Muller. The 22nd Zurich Film Festival is scheduled to take place from September 24 to October 4 this year.
