Discover the Legacy: The Bruce Springsteen Center for American Music

A new center dedicated to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, called the Bruce Springsteen Center for American Music, is set to open to the public. The 30,000-square-foot building houses the Bruce Springsteen Archives, showcasing photos, memorabilia, instruments, clothes, handwritten lyrics, and more related to the band.

Visitors can start their tour by watching a documentary narrated by Bruce Springsteen himself and explore 10 exhibits covering topics like the evolution of the electric guitar, Springsteen as a songwriter, and American music genres. The center also features a performance space for live events and film screenings.

The museum serves as a working archive open to musicians, scholars, and teachers for research and educational programs. The project, which began in 2001, was organized by Springsteen fans and took over 25 years to come to fruition. The center is located on the campus of Monmouth University in Long Branch, New Jersey.

The Bruce Springsteen Center for American Music offers timed tickets for visitors, with different pricing for adults, seniors, kids, veterans, and students. The center opens on June 13 with summer hours from 10 am to 5 pm daily, and extended hours until 8 pm on Thursdays.
